CASA MARITIMA in Chania Old Town, Crete

The old town's attractions are all reachable on foot within a short time. To archaeological museum, the navy museum, the folklore museum and the Byzantine museum as well as the post-Byzantine exhibition are all in a very small distance. In the area there are many traditional restaurants, shops, cafe and places to enjoy one's drink. CASA MARITIMA does not have its own parking area, as it is located in the old town of Chania and in this region cars are not allowed to park here and traffic is only allowed in the morning up to 11.00 for the supply of stores. This allows you to freely walk and browse everything in the old town of Chania.

Within 5 minutes there is private parking area and within a 10-minute walk, there is the free municipal parking (Talos Square).

500 meters from Casa Maritima is the extensive sandy beach of Nea Chora. The airport is 16 km away and the port of Souda is 6 km away for those traveling by sea.

Furthermore, 500 meters away is the municipality's main bus station from where you can reach most parts of the county, both for your beach and mountain getaways.
